TypeScript: Application-Scale JavaScript

I’ve blogged about this before. For myself, I also only used this feature in experimental code, however, the more web applications I build and the more non-trivial requirements that I attempt to build in those applications, the more I realize or rather confirm that JavaScript is a pain in the behind to work with.

While there is a whole lot happening in the “Web Programming” space, if you’re an ASP.NET developer, and you’re using Visual Studio (yes you can do ASP.NET on Linux using Mono) then TypeScript is a technology that can shave quite a bit of time off of your development.

Be sure to have a look.
