Nokia pushes out fix for Lumia 900 issues ahead of schedule!

Well, I got to say, I was a little bit concerned that the first properly marketed Windows Phone 7 device to hit the North American market would have been irreparably damaged from the Data and Memory leak issue that has been fairly well publicized in the media this last week, but I’m actually impressed that not only did Nokia own up to the issue right away, rather than feign ignorance on the issue (“… there is no issue, you’re just holding your Phone wrong.”) but they were able to push out a fix in very quick time. Objectively speaking, we do need to give it some time to ensure that the fix doesn’t add any *new* bugs, but good job Nokia.

I’m still waiting on Asus to push out a proper fix for the plethora of issues that came along with my Android ICS “upgrade”.

Rock on Nokia!

— Cheers
