Codeacademy.com–An creative way to learn programming

imageIt seems that programming/coding/hacking is once again becoming a popular skillset. I suppose that’s bound to happen with the rise of the Smartphone and the popularity and importance of mobile and web applications to modern life.

Codeacademy seems to have recognized this need and they are delivering training in a most interesting fashion, directly on the web in an interactive hands-on process. I’ve walked though a bit of the process and I think it’s a brilliant way to teach programming. You can check it out for yourself, but I also encourage you to introduce some young people to the joys of coding & software development 😉

Some think that all this hype around mobile & web apps will lead to another bubble, but that a topic for discussion on another day.
